BioSecure HACCP - Manages your biosecurity risks for both imported and exported material.
BioSecure HACCP is an on-farm biosecurity management system designed to assist nurseries in assessing their current and future pest, disease and weed risks and guide our customers in the implementation of management strategies at critical control points.
This accreditation was developed by the NGIA in partnership with Horticultre Australia Limited (HAL) and implemented to ensure HACCP guidelines are followed, assuring best management practice strategies are carried out.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Contro Point) is a set of guidelines that provides a systematic approach for production nurseries to assess their biosecurity hazards and responsibilities and manage the risks.
To achieve accreditation is a significant achievement for Birdwood Nursery and should assure our Commercial Growers of our level of quality and commitment.
