Birdwood Nursery supplies the Columbian Supreme Dragon Fruit (also known as Pitaya) which is self pollinating and early bearing. 

Featuring large fruit (up to 1kg) this cultivar is drought tolerant and features all the benefits of the Dragon Fruit.

Rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C and high in dietary fibre, Dragon Fruit are an all round healthy fruit to eat with lots of beneficial health benefits including controlling glucose blood sugar levels

An interesting shape and color, this Dragon Fruit is a pinkish red color with a red fruit with black seeds throughout.  The fruit is a sweet tasting pulp which is low in cholesterol.
