Meyer Lemon

This grafted Dwarf Meyer Lemon is a disease resistant, compact tree bearing full size, sweetish, juicy fruit.

With a rootstock suited to Queensland conditions, it can be planted either in a tub or in the garden and fruits in its first season.  The fruit matures from October to February

The Meyer Lemon is a cross between a lemon and possibly an orange or a mandarin and was named for Frank N. Meyer, who first discovered it in 1908. The Meyer is thin-skinned and slightly less acidic than the Lisbon and Eureka lemons.

Nutritionally high in Vitamin C and calcium, Lemons are also a great source of dietary fibre.  The whole fruit (Lemon juice, rind, and zest) are used in a wide variety of culinary applications.
