Tahitian Lime

Birdwood Nursery supplies disease resistant Tahitian Lime Rootstock which are suited to Queensland growing conditions.

Tahitian limes are easy to grow either in a tub or in the garden. They fruit in their second season.

Both the Flying Dragon and Trifoliata Rootsock produce full size seedless, juicy fruit from late October to July.

Nutritionally, the Lime contains far more Vitamin C than Lemons which can increase the body's resistance to disease, aids the healing of wounds and prevents damage to the eyes.

The rind of the fruit also has medicinal properties including improving digestion and treating digestive disorders.
