Thai Ginger

This highly productive and easy to grow "Thai" Ginger is renowned as Queensland's finest eating ginger.

This variety yields up to 5kg of Ginger and prefers fertile, moist, tropical soil so it can be grown in the garden or in a large pot in a sunny, well drained position.

Ginger has a multitude of uses most notably being used as an important cooking spice as well as helping to treat the common cold, flu-like symptoms and headaches. Ginger has also been used to aid digestion and treat stomach upsets and nausea for more than 2,000 years.
